 Today's topic of learning was a continuation of analyzing Emily Dickinson's poetry. We were given an assignment of 30 questions that we are to do as a class. Our American LIT class is very discussion-based in my opinion. I think even today expanded my knowledge as well as the ability to analyze poems. I have never been good at anything related to poetry, so it was a small challenge. I think it is going very well so far.

 Today at school we had our first even block day of the year. Overall, the day was pretty bad for me. American Lit was okay, I was just really tired and did not preform as good as a could have. I went to the nurse during our class period and she gave me instructions to go to urgent care. I was in a lot of pain and just had a bad day. Now, the classwork has turned into homework.

Write about someone you forgot about

 Someone who I had forgotten about was my second grade teacher. Her name is Ms. Morgan, and I haven't seen her since around that time. She was very nice and made me feel welcome at a new school. I remember her being very understanding and always being easy to talk too. She was a great teacher, and she made a big impact on my life. I will try not to forget her again.

 In American LIT on Monday, we read the poems that we had written last week. We read these poems to the class, everyone that had turned it in spoke to the class. I was the last person to go, and barely had enough time to get through mine. Mr Rease did not assign us any extra work for the independent learning day on Tuesday, which was good news to me. I checked out at the end of the day, so the day was shorter. This was also good news to me. I would rate it as a 7/10 day.
