 Today in American LIT was out block day, Mr Rease was not there though. Instead of a lesson we did vocab work. We were given 15 words to record as well as their definitions. I had expected to know most of the words because I read so much, but I learned some new ones today. 

 Today in American LIT was our day 2 of the benchmark test. It surprised me that we were getting an accuracy grade on the test but we were. I had already finished  the questions so I just had the long answer to write. I really enjoy writing, so it wasn't so bad. Still not my favorite though. I was also surprised that I finished within the small period, but I did. It wasn't my best work, I hope it wasn't too bad.

 Today's topic of learning was a continuation of analyzing Emily Dickinson's poetry. We were given an assignment of 30 questions that we are to do as a class. Our American LIT class is very discussion-based in my opinion. I think even today expanded my knowledge as well as the ability to analyze poems. I have never been good at anything related to poetry, so it was a small challenge. I think it is going very well so far.
